Nguyen Tan Loc's luggage this time includes a special work bearing the mark of Vietnamese culture, Kliselamef (Female Silk), which is being performed for the first time. Kliselamef (Female Silk) is inspired by the folk song "My body is like a piece of peach silk".
Choreographer Nguyen Tan Loc shared: “The work Female Silk comes from respect, love and emotions mixed with a bit of sadness and admiration for Vietnamese women of the past. I want to dedicate all the respect of this work to my mother, my sister, my friends... those who have always been a strong motivation for our lives."

Nguyen Tan Loc said he exploited the soft, flowing material of Vietnamese silk and, together with designer Kieu Viet Lien, researched and created to achieve harmony in dance costumes, combining silk material with body language and movements, honoring the silk ao dai costume in the festival in Italy this year.
In addition to Kliselamef (Female Silk) , Arabesque Vietnam also performed the work Melting choreographed by Lim SunYoung.

The 2023 Italy International Contemporary Dance Festival takes place from July 19 to July 30, 2023, including more than 20 performances in the three cities of Salerno, Perugia and Naples.
Specialized seminars, street performances on outdoor stages, in museum buildings, national art galleries - where the ancient beauty of Europe and the beauty of nature will blend with contemporary dance art.
Arabesque Vietnam will perform 5 nights at the festival and participate in workshops with international artists.
Mr. Claudio Malangone - dancer, choreographer, PhD, psychologist, founder of Bordeline Danza (co-organizer of the festival) since 1998, said he has been very impressed with the creative and performance organization capacity of Arabesque Vietnam for many years.
Borderline Danza has collaborated with Arabesque Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh International Dance Festival (2013-2018) , the Women Made 2022 project in Italy and Vietnam.
This year, Borderline Danza is very honored and delighted to welcome Arabesque Vietnam to this international contemporary dance festival, after a long period of art facing many obstacles and separation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Arabesque Vietnam is one of the first private contemporary dance companies in Ho Chi Minh City, developing a variety of ballet, neo-classical and contemporary dance genres, founded in 2008 by choreographer Nguyen Tan Loc.
