Understanding that and responding to the Government's policy of supporting young people to access housing, on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26, 2025, the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) pioneered the implementation of a Credit Package to support young people to buy/rent-purchase houses, applicable from March 26 to December 31, 2025, with many outstanding policies applied for the first time, helping the young generation easily realize their dream of settling down.

With 6 times being honored as “Bank with the best housing loan products in Vietnam” and a decade leading as “Best Retail Bank in Vietnam”, BIDV continues to affirm its pioneering position with the largest loan package and the best incentives in the market specifically for young home buyers. This is also a clear demonstration of BIDV’s long-term commitment: “Having BIDV means having a Home”.

Accordingly, individual customers up to 35 years old who want to buy/rent-purchase houses nationwide will be supported with an interest rate of 5.5%/year fixed for the first 3 years and the following years will be equal to the capital mobilization interest rate for a term of 24 months + 3%/year; loan term up to 40 years and especially no principal repayment within 5 years applied on a maximum amount of 5 billion VND/customer. For projects with a commitment to dedicate at least 30% of total output products to young people, investors will be applied a preferential interest rate of 6%/year fixed for 24 months by BIDV and the following years will be lower than the normal interest rate by 1-2%/year.

With this loan package, customers can borrow up to 70% of the value of the house they intend to buy and 50% of the value for the need to borrow to hire purchase. Customers borrowing to buy/hire purchase a house can be flexible in choosing suitable collateral such as: valuable papers/deposit balance, house they intend to buy/hire purchase with loan capital; other owned real estate...

At the same time, with competitive interest rates and a principal-free policy of up to 5 years, young people can completely rest assured to reduce debt repayment pressure and enjoy life in their dream home.

Aiming to completely solve the problem of housing supply and demand as well as encourage investors to target the young customer segment, BIDV is the pioneer bank to offer preferential packages for project investors. BIDV considers lending up to 75% of the total investment and the loan term is unlimited, in accordance with the project's cash flow. The credit package is applied to both new loan projects or projects that have been approved by BIDV but have not yet disbursed. In addition, BIDV prioritizes disbursement for investors with policies to reduce selling prices for young people.

To effectively disburse the VND40,000 billion credit package, BIDV has made efforts to optimize the processing process to provide maximum support to customers in terms of loan procedures and documents; shorten appraisal time, approval time, disbursement time... Customers can go to BIDV branches nationwide to learn about and carry out preferential loan procedures.
