With the completion and over-fulfillment of the planned targets set for 2024, at the Conference to summarize the Party building work and deploy tasks and business plans for the entire system in 2025 of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ) recently held in Hanoi, BIDV Thanh Hoa was honored as the leading outstanding business unit in the North Central region in 2024.

In 2024, with proactiveness, determination, and efforts to maximize all resources... BIDV's business activities will take place safely and smoothly, fully completing all business plan targets; continuing to affirm its key and leading role in implementing policies and directions of the Party, State, Government and State Bank; fulfilling its responsibilities to the State, shareholders, employees and the community.

By December 31, 2024, BIDV's business targets have all met and exceeded the plan assigned by the State Bank and the General Meeting of Shareholders, specifically: Total assets of the commercial banking sector reached nearly VND 2.7 million billion (equivalent to more than 100 billion USD), up 19.4%, maintaining its position as the joint stock commercial bank with the largest total assets in Vietnam; total mobilized capital reached VND 2.14 million billion, up 13.1%; total outstanding credit reached over VND 2.01 million billion, up 15.3%; leading credit market share, reaching 13.1%; credit quality is controlled within limits; bad debt ratio according to Circular 31 is controlled at 1.3%, in line with the SBV's orientation; bad debt coverage ratio reached 133%.

The bank's pre-tax profit alone reached VND30,006 billion (equivalent to more than USD1.1 billion), up 12.4%. Profitability and operational safety indicators were ensured. BIDV has contributed to the entire banking industry in synchronously implementing solutions to support businesses and people in accessing capital, restoring production and business, thereby promoting growth and controlling inflation; at the same time, promoting digital transformation and green transformation towards sustainable development...

The branch has strongly transformed its business structure towards diversification, improving service quality, taking customers as the center, building a safe and sustainable operating structure, actively contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo, Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the innovation process in Thanh Hoa.

BIDV Thanh Hoa is one of five units receiving the emulation flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good workers and building a strong trade union organization in 2023.

With outstanding achievements in business activities in 2024, at the conference, BIDV Thanh Hoa was honored as the leading excellent business unit in the North Central region; Mr. Le Ngoc Van, Director of BIDV Thanh Hoa was honored as the Excellent Business Executive Director. BIDV Thanh Hoa was also awarded the emulation flag by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its achievement in the Top 5 excellent units in the emulation movement for excellent labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2023.

The above achievements will create strong momentum and motivation for BIDV Thanh Hoa to continue to strive and successfully complete the 2025 business plan, contributing to the development of BIDV and continuing to make important contributions to the development of Thanh Hoa province.
