The second match of Group A VTV Cup 2024 witnessed the thrilling victory of Vietnamese women's volleyball team against Korea Expressway (Korea) with a score of 3-2.

In the opening match of VTV Cup 2024, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost to Kuanysh (Kazakhstan). Therefore, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team was determined to win against Korea Expressway to keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive. Things did not go too smoothly for the home team. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen played better when she was returned to the opposite position. However, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team did not really "warm up" in the first game.
The errors and high performance of Yunieska Ribles and Nikolova Merelin from Korea Expressway made things difficult for the home team. The Korean representative won 25-18 in this game. They won 25-22 in this game, equalizing the score 1-1. In game 3, the advantage once again belonged to Korea Expressway. The first step error was the reason for the unfortunate loss of points by the Vietnamese girls. The opponent took the lead 2-1 again when winning 25-16 in this game. But the home team did not surrender easily. In game 4, they created a breathtaking chase.

Here, the home team completely controlled the situation and won 15-8, thereby ending the match with a score of 3-2. This thrilling victory helped the Vietnamese women's volleyball team revive their hope of reaching the semi-finals. Tomorrow, August 26, they will have a day off. Then, at 7:00 p.m. on August 27, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team will face Paint Master (Philippines). Another victory will help them get a ticket to the next round.
