(NLDO)- Yeah1 said the company's business activities are still running normally.
Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has issued a document requesting Yeah1 Group Corporation (stock code: YEG), the producer of "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", to disclose information.
According to HoSE, through transaction monitoring, HoSE found that from December 17 to 23, YEG shares hit the ceiling for 5 consecutive sessions, which is a case that requires explanation.
Specifically, in 5 consecutive sessions, this stock has jumped from 14,600 VND to 20,300 VND, an increase of nearly 90% after 1 month and 125% after 1 quarter.
Despite the request for explanation, the stock continued to hit the ceiling yesterday and on the morning of December 25. Currently, YEG shares are at VND23,200/share.
Explaining this issue, Yeah1 said it was due to the objective supply and demand of the stock market. The stock trading price is determined by the market and is beyond the company's control.
The company's business activities are still taking place normally, according to the set plan and there are no unusual fluctuations in the company's operations.
YEG shares have increased sharply in recent times.
In recent times, the company has actively restructured its operations, optimized its management and operations, and focused on developing key business segments.
In particular, the production and broadcasting of programs on digital platforms, high-quality television programs that received support from a large audience and created a huge social media effect, the success of the programs and other business segments contributed to improving the company's business results compared to the previous period.
"The company commits to not having any impact on the trading price of YEG shares on the stock market" - Yeah1 said.
Yeah1 has recently become famous as the producer of the show "Anh trai vu ngan chong gai". Recently, this company organized 2 concerts "Anh trai vu ngan chong gai" in Ho Chi Minh City and Hung Yen and quickly "sold out" after announcing the sale.
At the online conference on culture, sports and tourism in 2024, Yeah1's "Anh trai qua ngan cong thorn" was mentioned many times. This is a program with enough scope, intelligence and creativity to develop the cultural and entertainment industries in Vietnam.
"Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" is a reality TV show produced by Yeah1, which was adapted from the original version "Call Me By Fire" owned by MangoTV. The show has attracted attention and created a lot of buzz. In Vietnam, Yeah1 is the only unit that owns the copyright to produce this show.
Regarding business performance, Yeah1's revenue in the third quarter of 2024 reached more than VND 345 billion, 3 times higher than the same period last year and the highest revenue since the fourth quarter of 2020. Excluding related expenses, Yeah1 reported a profit in the third quarter 10 times higher than the same period last year, reaching more than VND 34 billion.
