Provincial Party Secretary Tran Huy Tuan received the General Chamber of Commerce of the Asia-Pacific Union

At the reception, Comrade Tran Huy Tuan - Provincial Party Secretary expressed his joy and excitement when the delegation of the Asia-Pacific General Chamber of Commerce came to Yen Bai province to survey and explore investment opportunities. This is an organization established in 2012, with the co-founders of hundreds of businesses in the Asia-Pacific region. The goal of the chamber is to promote economic and trade development in the Asia-Pacific region and countries along the "Belt and Road" route. At the same time, it strives to become an open platform for countries and regions to share resources and develop international trade.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Huy Tuan received the General Chamber of Commerce of the Asia- Pacific Union to explore investment cooperation opportunities in Yen Bai province.

Introducing the geographical location and potential strengths of Yen Bai province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan emphasized that Yen Bai is a province with advantages to develop the agricultural and forestry sector associated with raw material areas: afforestation and processing of paper, pulp, and artificial boards; planting and processing cinnamon, tea, and coffee; planting and processing cassava and fruits; aquaculture and processing of aquatic products. With abundant mineral resources, the province has favorable conditions for exploiting and processing minerals such as precious stones, kaolin, feldspar, calcium carbonate powder, iron, etc. and producing construction materials: cement, bricks, technical ceramics, civil ceramics, stone tiles, decorative stones, and other construction materials.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan affirmed that Yen Bai province is always ready to welcome and create favorable conditions to attract investors. However, the province will select investors in a cautious and sustainable manner, research, survey carefully and propose development projects that are appropriate to the potential, strengths and strategic orientation of the province. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee committed that the province will have mechanisms and policies to create the best conditions for enterprises in the alliance to invest in projects in the locality.
