Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong presented Chol Chnam Thmay gifts to Most Venerable Thach Sok Xane, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tra Vinh province, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks Solidarity, and Abbot of Ang Pagoda .
Joining the delegation were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Tra Vinh province.
Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong and the delegation visited and congratulated Chol Chnam Thmay - the traditional New Year of the Khmer people in 2025 at Ang Pagoda (Ward 8), Kom Pong Pagoda and the Office of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks (in the same area of Ward 1), Tra Vinh city.
The delegation of Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong took a souvenir photo with Venerable Thach Sok Xane .
At the places he visited, Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong inquired about the health of monks, pagoda management boards, and Buddhist followers; and acknowledged the contributions of pagodas, the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks and Buddhists, and people in socio-economic development in recent times.
Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong had a friendly talk with Most Venerable Thach Oai, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks and Monks, Abbot of Kom Pong Pagoda.
On the eve of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year 2025, comrade Ngo Chi Cuong wishes all monks and their families joy and happiness; wishes Buddhists to have an increasingly better life and celebrate the traditional New Year joyfully, warmly and economically.
