Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung expressed his joy that the infrastructure of border posts has been built spaciously; the lives of officers, soldiers and people in the area have been increasingly improved; political security and social order and safety have been ensured. At the same time, he acknowledged and commended the achievements that the units have made in contributing to protecting the peaceful and happy life of the people, ensuring political security, social order and safety and participating in socio-economic development in the locality.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the units will continue to grasp the goals and orientations for socio-economic development of the province, together with local Party committees and authorities, to propagate and mobilize people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. Support fishermen to develop their economy, go offshore and stick to the sea; resolutely implement solutions to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; effectively implement social security programs and models to help people develop socio-economic development and sustainably reduce poverty.
In the coming time, border guards need to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, actively and proactively coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to maintain national defense and security, and sovereignty over seas and islands; support local people in socio-economic development, especially families in difficult circumstances. During the work process, if encountering difficulties or problems, units need to promptly report and propose to provincial leaders for direction, support and finding solutions.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary presented meaningful gifts to border stations and local people, and wished the officers, soldiers and people a new year of good health, peace, happiness, successful completion of tasks and many achievements in work and life.
