Presenting the support board and starting construction to remove temporary and dilapidated houses for Mrs. Pham Thi Tho's family.
The house was built with a “3-hard” structure: brick floor, walls, corrugated iron roof, with an area of 50m², total cost of 60 million VND supported by the State. This is a poor family, having to work for hire every day to make a living, having difficult housing circumstances. The current house is degraded, there is no possibility of rebuilding.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Secretary of Cho Moi District Party Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Kieu emphasized: “The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister is of great significance, demonstrating profound humanity, aiming to support policy families, poor and near-poor households to have a warm home to “settle down and start a business”. From there, it helps them feel secure in working and producing, developing the family economy, and gradually rising out of poverty sustainably”.
After a period of review, My Luong town has 16 households eligible to build houses under the Prime Minister's Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Of these, there are 3 policy households and 13 poor and near-poor households.
