Hanoi Secretary requests to speed up capital disbursement for transport projects

This morning (December 9), speaking at the opening session of the 20th session of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai affirmed that in 2024, although the capital city of Hanoi and the whole country will face many difficulties and challenges, especially the situation of natural disasters and climate change with unusual developments, sometimes beyond forecast, causing great losses in human lives and property of the State and people such as storm No. 3 (Yagi).

In that context, the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have closely followed the direction of the Central Government, focused on leading, directing and promptly and drastically implementing the main tasks and solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan and the State budget estimate for 2024, achieving quite comprehensive results in all fields.

Ms. Hoai stated that the above results were achieved thanks to the efforts of the Party Committee, the government, the political system and all classes of people in the capital; the attention and direction of the Central agencies, the delegation of the National Assembly of Hanoi; the support of voters and people of the capital and especially the proactiveness, companionship, active participation and responsibility of the People's Council of the city and the delegates of the People's Council of the city.
