Previously, at noon on September 6, staff of An Sinh Commune Health Station, Dong Trieu Town directly provided emergency care at home to patient TDP (49 years old, address An Sinh Commune, Dong Trieu Town) suspected of having anaphylactic shock. After that, the patient was transferred to the Emergency Department, Dong Trieu Town Medical Center in a lethargic state; unresponsive to calls and questions; rapid, weak pulse; blood pressure 50/30 mmHg; cold skin and extremities.
By the morning of September 7, patient TDP had regained consciousness and fully recovered.
Immediately after admission, the patient was diagnosed with grade 3 anaphylactic shock. The patient was treated with adrenaline injection and infusion, fluid resuscitation, respiratory control, corticosteroid injection and antihistamine.

According to Mr. TDP, while working in a wooden shed, he was bitten by ants on the forehead, then felt a burning sensation all over his body, accompanied by fatigue; the patient lay down in the shed and knew nothing more.
Mr. TDP was discovered by his family and neighbors in a lethargic state; he responded very weakly when called, asked, and pinched. Everyone called the staff of An Sinh Commune Health Station for emergency care.
It is known that this is a rare case of anaphylactic shock due to ant bites, which was promptly treated and given emergency treatment by doctors at the center.
According to the recommendations of doctors at Dong Trieu City Medical Center, anaphylaxis is an allergic reaction that can appear immediately from a few seconds, a few minutes to a few hours after the body is exposed to an allergen, causing different clinical symptoms, which can be serious and lead to rapid death.
Therefore, when the body shows abnormal signs after exposure to allergens (such as bee stings, ant stings, injections, taking medicine, eating foods, etc.), you need to go to the nearest medical facility immediately for timely emergency treatment.
