Episode 43 of My Happy Family suddenly aired on the evening of August 3, making the audience upset because of the development of Phuong (Meritorious Artist Kieu Anh) having a third miscarriage.
It was thought that Phuong and Cong (Quang Su) would soon welcome their first child, but in episode 43, Phuong was stunned when the doctor said there was a problem with the fetal heart rate.

The latest tragedy of the Cong - Phuong family has left most of the audience stunned and disapproving. Although it is nearing its end, the film still has tragic details that are considered long-winded and unnecessary.
Phuong’s third miscarriage not only caused more drama for the character, but also dashed the audience’s hopes for a happy ending for the couple. In no episode did the audience see Phuong fully enjoy the joy, until she learned she was going to be a mother. But that joy was dashed in episode 43 last night.
The excerpt posted on VTV Entertainment's fanpage has reached nearly 2 million views, with more than 7,000 angry comments from the audience.
Most viewers did not accept this plot, and expressed outrage when the screenwriter pushed the Cong - Phuong couple to the end of pain.
"Stop watching movies, life is already not easy, watching movies for entertainment but watching them feels like someone is squeezing your heart, then why watch them? The challenges are enough, give them sweet results, and then at the end of the movie, Phuong gets pregnant and leaves the ending hanging like that?";

On her personal page, actress Kieu Anh posted a picture of the character Phuong "crying" when she heard the news that she lost her child, making the audience feel even more "heartbroken". She wrote: "After the rain, the sky is clear again, after the storm there is a rainbow. Pressure creates diamonds? Right?".
In response to the audience's feedback that the scriptwriter still let Phuong lose her child almost at the end of the film, which was too "shocking" and "brutal", and frustrating to watch, Kieu Anh expressed: "Sometimes in life, we also fall into the same situation. Then how to get out is the important thing."
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, a female TV drama screenwriter (who asked to remain anonymous) said that the sad story of the character Phuong or of Mr. Toai and Mrs. Cuc's family in the film is a true story of many women and families around us.
"A warm, happy family does not mean that the family only encounters happy things. On the contrary, a happy family is because they use optimism to overcome sad things in life. I think that is the message the film wants to bring to the audience," the female screenwriter expressed.
She added: "From the perspective of a filmmaker, I think the crew did not try to create a shocking tragedy for the character to prolong the film. Such a comment is somewhat emotional and inaccurate. However, the audience has the right to express their thoughts and feelings.
I think, the journey to protect and preserve the family happiness of Mr. Toai and Mrs. Cuc is a long journey, with many difficulties that they have been and are trying to overcome.
Therefore, the audience should also be calm and patient to go through that journey, and together with them, give strength to their own characters. That's what I think the film crew hopes for."
After many changes, recently, the producer has officially finalized the number of episodes of the movie My Family Is Suddenly Happy at 56, an increase of 32 episodes compared to the original introduction (24 episodes).
With 13 more episodes until the end of the film, the audience cannot help but wonder about a reasonable ending for the characters when until now, they still have not escaped the tragedies that make viewers heartbroken.
Talking about upcoming developments, screenwriter Phuong Thao hopes that the audience will stay calm, continue to love the film and accompany Mr. Toai and Mrs. Cuc's family.
