Earlier, on the morning of April 10, the patient suddenly had a severe headache, staggered and quickly fell into a deep coma. The family immediately took the patient to People's Hospital 115, where doctors and nurses urgently performed endotracheal intubation and intensive resuscitation with all efforts to save the patient's life.

However, the severe brain damage left the patient in a state of irreversible brain death. The family made a brave and noble decision: to donate all of Mr. Y's tissues and organs to help other patients.

At noon on April 11, after the expert council concluded that the patient was brain dead, People's Hospital 115, with close support from the National Organ Transplant Coordination Center and Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, urgently completed the steps in the organ donation - collection - transplantation process in accordance with regulations.
