Viet Duc Friendship Hospital surveys technology transfer in Tuyen Quang

- On April 17, a working delegation of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital led by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Khanh, Deputy Director of the Hospital, visited and assessed professional activities and the ability to receive Project 1816 and the Remote Medical Examination and Treatment Project for the period 2024-2030 at Son Duong District Medical Center and Na Hang District Medical Center. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Department of Health and leaders of Son Duong and Na Hang districts.

At the meeting, Son Duong District Medical Center and Na Hang District Medical Center proposed to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital to be supported in training, technology transfer, equipment, and online treatment connection in the coming time. Thereby, helping the unit to access online seminars and conferences to update knowledge on difficult case consultation, remote treatment, etc.

After conducting a survey and assessment of the existing facilities, equipment, human resources and capacity and ability to receive technical packages at departments in need of receiving technical transfer, the members of the delegation exchanged, discussed and assessed the needs and capacity to receive the transferred techniques. At the same time, they analyzed and specified some contents and requirements in receiving technical transfer of the units.

The members of the working group affirmed that in the coming time, they will ensure conditions for receiving professional support as well as orientation for in-depth technical development for the 2 Centers. Viet Duc Friendship Hospital is ready to support and transfer technical catalogs according to the needs of Son Duong District Medical Center and Na Hang District Medical Center.

However, the representative of the leadership of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital also requested that the 2 Centers have a plan to develop appropriate human resources, prioritize the development of necessary techniques that have equipment to meet the training courses and technical transfer packages; ensure the legality of professional work in general and training activities in particular. At the same time, soon supplement equipment to serve the techniques, especially the trained techniques, with the need to deploy in the near future...

Speaking at the meeting, the representative of the Department of Health affirmed that the training and technology transfer packages that Viet Duc Friendship Hospital has provided to the province's health sector in general and the two health centers in particular in recent years and in the coming time are very meaningful for both the health sector and patients.

Therefore, the Health sector hopes that Viet Duc Friendship Hospital will continue to provide professional support to the Na Hang and Son Duong District Medical Centers in particular and to medical facilities in the province in general to contribute to further improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people.

On this occasion, doctors from Viet Duc Friendship Hospital participated in a consultation and transferred surgical techniques for an emergency case of bladder rupture at Son Duong District Medical Center and consulted on a case of necrosis in the toe.
