According to the signed content, the two sides will coordinate to deploy a series of advanced genetic medicine solutions such as: Non-invasive prenatal screening test triSure NIPT - a product developed based on Vietnamese genetic data, with an accuracy of over 99%, providing fast, safe and reasonable cost results.

Especially for pregnant women For high-risk mothers, prenatal counseling and diagnosis will be enhanced to minimize risks for both mother and baby.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, a scientific workshop with the theme "Application of genetic testing in maternal and child health care" took place, attracting the attention of many doctors and experts.

At the conference, warning figures were presented: More than 80% of children with genetic diseases are born to healthy parents; many recessive genetic disorders do not manifest in the parents' generation but severely affect children such as SMA, Fragile X, thalassemia...

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Medical Genetics both recommend screening for genetic disease carriers before marriage or pregnancy. This is an important key to help couples take the initiative in planning to have children safely. The signing of the cooperation agreement between Vinh Duc and Gene Solutions is not only a combination of two medical and technological units but also a positive signal for the development of precision medicine in the Central region.
