Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital will have 1,500 beds when it becomes a regional hospital.

The project's objective is to invest in developing the Provincial General Hospital into a high-tech specialized hospital, taking on regional functions to address the urgent need for facilities in the examination and treatment of internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and pediatrics for the people of Khanh Hoa province and some provinces and cities in the South Central Coast region. Thereby, contributing to reducing the load on central-level hospitals, in line with the planning of the medical facility network for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The project investment scale is 1,500 hospital beds, including 500 high-tech specialized beds. The location is in the Urban Area - Park - New Administrative Center of Khanh Hoa province, Vinh Thai commune, Nha Trang city, with an area of ​​about 11.2 hectares. The project has a total investment capital of 4,450 billion VND, from the local budget. The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2030.
