The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Lam Dong Hospital 2 diagnosed the pregnant woman with fever of unknown cause, 37 weeks and 3 days pregnant for the second time.

At 11:20, Ms. Hang was awake, her skin and mucous membranes were pink, her temperature was 38.20C, her blood pressure was 100/60 mmHg, her fetal heart rate was 160-180 beats/minute, her uterus was contracting slightly, and she was treated with IV fluids and fever reducer by the doctor...

At 12:20 pm, the mother was still conscious, the fetal heart was difficult to hear, the uterus was contracting slightly, the urine catheter was red, the hospital ordered an emergency cesarean section because the mother was in acute fetal distress.

At 12:25, the surgical team brought the girl out, but her whole body was purple, her heart rate was zero, and she had no reflexes. Despite 30 minutes of resuscitation by the doctors, the baby still died.

At 1:40 p.m., the mother's health condition worsened, Lam Dong Hospital 2 held an inter-hospital consultation with Cho Ray Hospital and Tu Du Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City. The mother was treated with intensive resuscitation, intubation, controlled ventilation, intravenous fluids, pain relief, hemostasis, etc.

The doctor in charge invited the family of the pregnant woman Bui Thi Hang to explain her health condition and complete the transfer procedures according to the inter-hospital consultation. With the family's consent, Lam Dong Hospital 2 sent a team of doctors to transfer the pregnant woman to Cho Ray Hospital, but when they reached Dinh Quan District (Dong Nai), the pregnant woman Bui Thi Hang's condition became critical.

The ambulance transferred the pregnant woman to Dinh Quan District Hospital. Doctors performed intensive resuscitation for 45 minutes but Ms. Hang still did not survive.
