America's Best Public Restrooms contest is held annually by national sanitation company Cintas to honor the cleanest, most innovative and beautiful places to relieve personal needs in the US.

This year marks the 23rd year of the contest, with voting taking place from April 8 to August 16. Toilets that have made it into the top 10 in previous years are not eligible to compete.

Last year's winner was the restroom at Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport in Maryland.

The online nominations list describes: “The Maverik Restrooms are worthy of a nomination for being clean and innovative, the fixtures are always shiny and new, and the restrooms are spacious and comfortable.”
