Recently, the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone had a meeting with the current project investor, Binh Dinh Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (formerly FLC Faros Binh Dinh Investment and Development Company Limited) to urge the overcoming of existing problems in the project implementation process.
Investors are required to focus on completing technical infrastructure and promptly fulfilling their land rent payment obligations.
FLC Lux City Quy Nhon Functional Urban Area Project has a total area of over 32 hectares, with a total investment of about 602 billion VND.
FLC Lux City Quy Nhon is an urban complex consisting of more than 1,000 shophouses, townhouses, villas, and more than 80 entertainment, shopping and culinary facilities operating 24/7, promising to become the most bustling resort urban area in Binh Dinh and the South Central region.
The project was expected to be completed in 2020 but is still unfinished, causing people to complain.

Traffic infrastructure in FLC Lux City Quy Nhon functional urban area is not complete; social infrastructure works have not been built; electricity and water systems are not available.
Mr. Duong Van The and his wife (in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh) signed a contract to buy a house with rough construction and exterior paint, total value of nearly 3.3 billion VND. Mr. The's family has paid nearly 2.8 billion VND but to date has not received the house.
"We paid according to the schedule, but the house has been under construction for nearly 7 years and is still not finished. Steel and iron keep falling everywhere. We have petitioned the investor and the relevant authorities many times, but no one has resolved the issue. My wife and I wish that the investor FLC Lux City Quy Nhon will comply with the contract, complete the construction soon, and hand over the house," Mr. The said indignantly.
Previously, as Dan Tri reported, the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone sent a document to Binh Dinh Development Investment Joint Stock Company regarding the cancellation of documents related to the conditions of future real estate to be put into business at the FLC Lux City Quy Nhon Functional Urban Area project.
Through reviewing the project progress, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone Management Board found that the project was behind schedule, technical infrastructure items had not been invested in and constructed synchronously according to the plan and had shown signs of deterioration, leading to many complaints and lawsuits affecting the investment environment in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
