At the press conference on the results of political tasks in the first nine months of 2024 in Ben Tre province on the morning of October 1st, Mr. Nguyen Truc Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, said that from the beginning of 2024 to date, Party organizations have disciplined 95 Party members (including 32 members of committees at various levels), a decrease of 23.3% compared to the same period in 2023 (95/124).
Of the 95 party members disciplined, 56 received a reprimand, 18 received a warning, and 21 were expelled from the Party.
According to Nguyen Truc Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, the province's disbursement rate currently ranks 5th in the Mekong Delta region and 15th nationwide. The province is focusing on implementing key projects after completing investment procedures, including the Korean ODA project which will commence at the end of October.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, expressed his gratitude for the contributions of central and local press agencies to the socio-economic development of Ben Tre province. He requested that provincial departments and agencies acknowledge and incorporate reasonable opinions and suggestions, and promptly address shortcomings and problems reflected in press reports.
At the same time, we hope that media agencies will continue to work alongside the locality to widely disseminate the province's policies and guidelines, thereby helping the public understand the legal regulations and contributing to the further development of Ben Tre.
