The baby is male, about 5 days old, weighs 2.5 kg. At the time of discovery, the baby's umbilical cord had not fallen off yet and was in normal health.
The baby was wearing a short-sleeved blue T-shirt, a pink cap, a diaper, pink socks, and was wrapped in two towels. The inner one was purple, the outer one was yellow.
The leader of Hoa Hai ward said that for the benefit of the child and the child's relatives, the People's Committee of Hoa Hai ward posted a notice to find relatives of the abandoned newborn, posted it publicly at the ward People's Committee headquarters and announced it on the ward's radio system, for the child's relatives to come to the ward to complete the procedures to receive the child.
