The National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the explanation, acceptance and revision of 7 draft laws, including: Law on Capital City (amended), Law on Organization of People's Court (amended), Law on Social Insurance (amended), Law on Roads, Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Law on National Defense and Security Industry and Industrial Mobilization and Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Property Auction.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Secretary General of the National Assembly, together with relevant agencies, to promptly issue a notice concluding the meeting's content so that agencies have a basis to complete project documents to submit for comments at the Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies.

The National Assembly Standing Committee has considered and approved two Resolutions on the establishment of An Dien and An Tay wards in Ben Cat town and the establishment of Ben Cat city in Binh Duong province; the establishment and arrangement of wards in Go Cong town and the establishment of Go Cong city in Tien Giang province.
The National Assembly Standing Committee commented on the Report on People's Aspirations Work in February 2024.
The National Assembly Standing Committee has reviewed and approved a Resolution approving personnel to hold the positions of Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee and Standing Member of the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also organized questioning activities on two groups of issues under the management of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the question and answer session at the 31st regular meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee met the set requirements and was a great success.
Based on the developments of the questioning session, reports from the Ministries and concluding remarks of the questioning session, the National Assembly Chairman requested the National Assembly Secretary General to promptly submit a draft Resolution to seek opinions from the National Assembly Standing Committee to soon issue a Resolution on questioning as a legal basis for implementation.
In the coming time, there will be many tasks to be carried out such as the National Conference summarizing the work of the People's Council, the Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies; the 32nd regular session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the legal thematic session... Along with that, the Government proposed many additional contents to the program of the upcoming 7th Session.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Chairman of the Ethnic Council and the Chairmen of the National Assembly Committees to urgently work with the Government's focal points to thoroughly review the contents, identify urgent contents, and prepare to add them to the meeting's agenda; any content that has not been prepared in time should be delayed.
Note that the number of draft laws and draft resolutions expected to be submitted to the National Assembly for comments is very large, requiring the Nationalities Council and the Committees to urgently arrange and implement scientific and reasonable work. At the same time, it is recommended that the agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the Government and relevant agencies closely follow the program and plan to organize scientific work, assign and allocate resources reasonably; focus efforts with high determination to ensure the progress and thoroughness of the quality of draft laws and draft resolutions.
