(GLO)- After 2 days (July 28 and 29) of the Agricultural Products Market and the 2nd "Typical Agricultural Products" Contest of Gia Lai Province - 2023, on the afternoon of July 29, at Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku City, the Provincial Farmers' Association closed and awarded prizes to agricultural products participating in the contest.

Through the form of judging through documents, product presentations and direct scoring of products displayed at the booth, the Organizing Committee decided to select 34 products out of a total of 67 products of 64 participating farmer households to award.
Of which, 2 first prizes were awarded to the green-skinned grapefruit product of member Luu Thi Thu Huong (in Mlah village, Phu Can commune, Krong Pa district) and the Minh Huy refined bird's nest product set of member Mac Thi Cam Nhung (in residential group 7, Chu Se town, Chu Se district); 4 second prizes (2 prizes in the fresh product group and 2 prizes in the pre-processed and processed product group); 6 third prizes (3 prizes in the fresh product group and 3 prizes in the pre-processed and processed product group); 22 consolation prizes (5 prizes in the fresh product group and 17 prizes in the pre-processed and processed product group).

The Organizing Committee also awarded 5 secondary prizes (3 prizes for units with active preparation and participation; 1 prize for the unit with the most beautifully decorated booth, complete with the most diverse range of products; 1 prize for the individual with the best presentation).
According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, through the Fair and the Competition, it can be seen that the participating units have invested in decorating beautiful booths, with rich and diverse products. The products in the competition are typical agricultural products produced by farmers in the province, with high economic value and development potential. Most of them are products that ensure quality according to standards such as: OCOP, VietGAP, organic, local certification of safe agricultural products, etc.

Through the Agricultural Market and Competition, it is an activity to help cadres and farmer members learn, exchange and share experiences on cooperation and association in production and consumption of agricultural products in the period of promoting digital transformation and deep international integration.
