Delegates attended the closing ceremony of the Training Course for the Military Procuracy of the Lao People's Army.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the training course, Major General Nguyen Thanh Phong emphasized: “For nearly a month, although the conditions for studying, traveling, weather, living and language communication have been difficult..., with the efforts of the students, lecturers, interpreters..., the training course has been implemented according to the plan, program content and achieved very good results”.

After nearly a month, the training course cadres have studied, learned and exchanged experiences on the following contents: Organizational structure, functions and tasks of the Vietnam Military Procuracy; fostering skills in practicing the right to prosecute, supervise the reception and handling of denunciations and reports of crimes and recommendations for prosecution; skills in practicing the right to prosecute and supervise criminal investigation; skills in practicing the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities in prosecution activities; skills in practicing the right to prosecute and supervise first-instance trials of criminal cases; skills in practicing the right to prosecute and supervise appeal trials of criminal cases; skills in practicing the right to prosecute and supervise final and retrial trials; skills in supervising detention, temporary detention and execution of sentences; investigation work of the Central Military Procuracy Investigation Agency; skills in handling complaints and denunciations and supervising the handling of complaints and denunciations in judicial activities; Management, direction, operation and information and reporting regime in the Military Procuracy; dissemination and education of law; scientific research, law-making and international cooperation of the Military Procuracy.

Along with training in prosecutorial skills, the trainees of the Training Course also participated in extracurricular activities such as: Visiting President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, visiting the Vietnam Military History Museum, the Thai Nguyen Safety Zone Historical Site, visiting and exchanging experiences at some Military Procuracies at the Military Region level.

On behalf of the training class, Lieutenant Colonel Khenvixay Phengvilay sincerely thanked the warm feelings, the solemn reception, the spirit of selfless assistance, and the favorable conditions created by the Central Military Procuracy, Group 871, and the functional agencies for the delegation. He affirmed: Through the training program, the officers of the Military Procuracy of the Lao People's Army have learned a lot of theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and professional prosecutorial skills to apply and deploy in the actual activities of their units, contributing to the cause of building the Army, strengthening national defense, and protecting the Fatherland.
