Attending the closing ceremony, on the Central side were comrades: Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Prime Minister; Le Hai Binh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the Ministries: Construction, Industry and Trade, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology; Nguyen Thanh Lam - General Director of Vietnam Television, Chairman of the 42nd National Television Festival.

On the side of Binh Dinh province, there were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Kim Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of departments, branches and localities.

As a festival for television workers nationwide, the 42nd National Television Festival took place from March 19-22, with the participation of 734 works of 11 genres from 100 units.

At the closing ceremony, the jury awarded 54 gold prizes, 98 silver prizes, 223 consolation prizes and 3 individual prizes to groups of authors with excellent works, in 11 categories including: Children's programs, Documentaries, Reports, Short reports, Science and education programs, Dialogue programs - Discussions, Ethnic minority language television programs, Music and dance programs, Theater, TV dramas and Videos on digital platforms. Of which, Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station won 3 gold prizes, 3 silver prizes and 3 consolation prizes.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the Gold Prize in the reportage and documentary category to the author and representative of the author group.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that 2025 is a year of special significance for the country of Vietnam, a thousand years of culture and heroism, as well as for the country's press and television - the year of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, 55 years of broadcasting the first television program. In that joy, the 42nd National Television Festival is not only a professional festival, but also a place where passion, dedication, innovation, creativity and a high sense of responsibility towards the Fatherland and the People converge.

The Prime Minister assessed that the 42-season journey of the Festival is a journey of tireless dedication, burning passion, unlimited creativity, strong innovation, and constant progress. From having only a few genres and participating units, the Festival has now become a prestigious, large-scale playground, comprehensively and promptly reflecting all aspects of social life, contributing to creating creativity and innovation of the Vietnamese television industry in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister warmly congratulated the collectives and individuals who participated and won prizes at this year's Festival - people full of creativity, enthusiasm and dedication.

In order for national television to develop to new heights, the Prime Minister suggested and expected the television industry to continue to innovate and make breakthroughs with a new spirit of thinking, new ways of doing things, looking far and wide, thinking deeply, doing big - proactively mastering technology, anticipating modern multimedia communication trends; fully conveying information, messages, policies, guidelines, and policies of the Party, State, and the aspirations of the people. Along with that, continuing to be the main information channel, conveying the policies and guidelines of the Party, State, and Government in all fields of the country to the people in the most truthful, impartial, transparent, complete, and comprehensive way; all for the benefit of the nation, the people, and the people. Creating many attractive, in-depth programs with humanistic values, vividly reflecting the breath and pulse of life under the leadership of the Party, the management of the State, and the participation of the people; has the power to spread, create strong, deep and effective motivation and inspiration for the entire Vietnamese people, civilized, cultured and heroic throughout history. Promote digital transformation, develop a multi-platform television ecosystem, focusing on the audience; wholeheartedly serve the Fatherland and the People. Organize and rearrange the apparatus scientifically, streamlined, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient in the spirit of Resolution 18 of the Central Committee for breakthrough development and deep international integration.
