On the evening of May 14, at the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House, the Ministry of Public Security held the closing ceremony of the 12th People's Public Security Mass Arts Festival, 2023, Region IV. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of Nghe An province and representatives of 22 delegations from 22 police units and localities of the provinces and cities of the North, North Central and South Central regions, along with a large number of local people.

Special performances were performed at the festival's closing ceremony.

After 4 days (May 11-14), 65 music performances, 21 dance performances, 16 solo and ensemble performances and 6 impressive, touching and meaningful musical performances were meticulously performed by 22 groups from 22 police units and localities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, said that the 4 days of performances by the mass art troupes with 117 art performances including singing, dancing, music, and drama, of which 37 were self-composed and newly composed by authors who are leaders, officers, and soldiers in the People's Public Security. Many traditional songs of the People's Public Security force were invested in by the units to arrange, stage, and renew, blending art forms, interspersed with regional colors, between the People's Public Security force and the homeland, the Party; especially with beloved President Ho Chi Minh, were recreated on the stage of this Festival, creating a vivid artistic picture that captivated viewers.

This festival has created a vibrant atmosphere of cultural and artistic life at the grassroots level, contributing to building solidarity and warm military-civilian relations, which further affirms the role of the People's Public Security force as a true pillar of peace for the people.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the 2023 People's Public Security Mass Arts Festival decided to award the Flag of the Ministry of Public Security Steering Committee to 1 most outstanding unit, 4 units with A prizes, 7 units with B prizes, 8 units with C prizes and 2 units with Encouragement prizes.

For the performance awards, the Ministry of Public Security decided to award the Certificate of the Organizing Committee along with the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Public Security to 22 performances that won the A prize; award the Certificate of the Organizing Committee to 33 performances that won the B prize, 44 performances that won the C prize and 10 certificates for the thematic awards.
