Determined to achieve growth target of over 9%

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the conference, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang continued to emphasize that 2024 is a very important year to complete the socio-economic development goals and tasks for the 5-year period 2021-2025 and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.

To complete the socio-economic development target in 2024, especially to achieve the target of increasing the total product in the province by over 9%, the Provincial Party Committee requires urgent focus on reviewing and completing the Provincial Planning dossier for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 to ensure consistency with the approval decision; promptly submit to the Prime Minister for approval the plan to implement the provincial planning. Focus on building and promulgating the project to establish a specialized economic zone; speed up the procedures for implementing key traffic projects, Thanh Long Lake eco-tourism project (Chi Linh City).

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to focus on quickly implementing key tasks, key works and projects, especially traffic, education, health, etc. Strengthen budget management and operation; focus on auctioning land use rights in some areas and projects. Step up the removal of difficulties and obstacles for enterprises. Urge and accelerate the progress of investment in building technical infrastructure for industrial parks and industrial clusters that have been established and assigned to investors to ensure sufficient conditions for attracting investment. Actively direct the review and report on the overall solution to projects and cases under the direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Strengthen the management, inspection and timely handling of violations in the management, exploitation and use of land and mineral resources and focus on environmental protection.

Proactively prepare to organize Party Congresses at all levels

Along with promoting economic development, Party committees and authorities at all levels need to continue to focus on doing a good job of ensuring social security. Direct departments, branches and localities to prepare conditions for the 2024 high school graduation exam and the 2024-2025 high school entrance exam. Prepare well to organize a dialogue conference between provincial leaders and officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the health sector in May. The Provincial Party Executive Committee assessed that the review work of the Provincial Party Standing Committee was carefully and fully prepared, in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee. The review was conducted seriously, frankly, with a spirit of openness and high responsibility, ensuring democracy. The results of leadership and direction in 2023 are an important premise for the Provincial Party Standing Committee to lead and direct the successful implementation of the goals and tasks in 2024.
