Closing Ceremony of the 2024 National Youth Indoor Volleyball Championship

This afternoon, June 15, at the Quang Tri Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium, the Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri to organize the closing ceremony of the 2024 National Youth Indoor Volleyball Championship. The final match of the women's volleyball between Vietinbank and Long An teams was exciting right after the referee blew the starting whistle. The Vietinbank girls entered the match with confidence and the highest determination to win. This was realized by the Vietinbank team with a 10-point victory (25-15) in the first set.

Facing the excitement of the young Vietinbank girls, Coach Ngoc Hoa directed changes in tactics, encouraging the fighting spirit of the Long An athletes. This helped the young Long An girls compete much better, showing determination and bravery in each accurate and highly effective shot to win with a score of 25-21 in the second set.

Entering the third set, the young girls of Long An played better than their opponents, winning convincingly with a score of 25-20. With a 2-1 advantage in points after 3 sets, the Long An team was determined to end the match in the fourth set.

The efforts of the Vietinbank team were commendable, but could not stop the Long An team from playing better and better. Long An won the 4th set with a score of 26-24, thereby winning the final score of 3-1 through 4 sets, winning the championship.

In the men's volleyball event, with superior class, The Cong Tan Cang team deservedly won the championship when defeating Khanh Hoa team with a score of 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-12).

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the Flag and Gold Medal to the Champion team Long An; Flag and Silver Medal to the Runner-up team Vietinbank; Flag and Bronze Medal to the two Third-place teams: the Information Corps and Kinh Bac Bac Ninh in the women's volleyball event.

In the men's volleyball event, the Flag and Gold Medal were awarded to the Champion The Cong Tan Cang team; the Flag and Silver Medal were awarded to the Runner-up Khanh Hoa team; the Flag and Bronze Medal were awarded to the two Third-place teams: Border Guard and Hanoi.

The organizing committee presented individual awards to the best male and female attackers of the tournament; best male and female defenders of the tournament; best male and female setters of the tournament.
