Closing Ceremony of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival and 3-Region Folk Song and Singing Festival in 2023

Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Ninh Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism); Nguyen Quoc Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture; Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Le Ngoc Chau - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival 2023, comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province affirmed: Being held for the first time, the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival 2023 has truly brought novelty, a new perspective, a new approach and expression of the traditional cultural heritage of the whole country in general and the Vi and Giam folk song heritage in particular.

Up to now, the Festival has been successfully held with a series of vibrant and colorful cultural events, imbued with the values ​​of national cultural heritage, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of tourists and people.

Honored to be the host locality, with the proactive, respectful and hospitable spirit of a land with a rich cultural history, Nghe An province has tried its best to make the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival a success, leaving many impressions and deep emotions for the people of Nghe An as well as tourists when coming to Nghe An.

The success of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival in 2023 is an important premise and foundation for Nghe An province to aim to build the Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival into a major cultural event of the province, organized regularly, to preserve and promote traditional artistic values, contribute to promoting the image, promoting exchange, cooperation, developing tourism, creating momentum for socio-economic development.

Evaluating the Festival of Folk Songs and Music of the Three Regions, comrade Bui Dinh Long said: The Mass Art Troupes have closely followed the regulations of the Organizing Committee to build programs and performances to participate in the festival, ensuring content, richness in form and artistic quality.

Although there were only 4 days of performances on stage, with the talent of the artists and actors performing with all their passion for cultural and artistic activities; the mass art troupes brought to the Festival special programs and art performances, creating a colorful cultural space with different levels of emotions, bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to watch and cheer.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Grassroots Culture awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An and the Cultural Center of Nghe An province for their outstanding achievements in successfully coordinating the organization of the 3-region Folk Song Festival in 2023.

The Organizing Committee of the Folk Song Festival of the Three Regions awarded 11 Gold Medals, 16 Silver Medals to the Mass Art Troupes, 31 Gold Medals to the performances; and announced 59 Silver Medals to the performances at the festival.

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival awarded 2 First prizes, 6 Second prizes and 11 Third prizes to Vi and Giam folk song clubs with excellent achievements at the Festival; announced 15 performances that won A prizes, 20 performances that won B prizes and 20 performances that won C prizes at the Festival; Young Actor Award, Excellent Performance and Author Award with Many Positive Contributions.
