Be Group cooperates with VinFast and Cake by VPBank to support drivers in switching to electric vehicles

ANTD.VN - On September 8, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, the multi-service consumer platform Be officially signed a cooperation agreement with VinFast Company and Cake by VPBank Digital Bank to support beBike (two-wheeled vehicle) drivers to switch from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles. Through the cooperation, hundreds of thousands of Be drivers will directly benefit from VinFast's support policies as well as have the opportunity to access optimal financial solutions from Cake by VPBank.

According to the agreement, VinFast will support Be drivers to switch from gasoline motorbikes to VinFast Feliz S electric motorbikes with a preferential rate of 4%/vehicle on the listed price in the first phase of cooperation. In addition, Be drivers will also enjoy all other stimulus programs of VinFast according to the company's general policy.

Along with the price incentives from VinFast, Cake by VPBank Digital Bank will provide modern digital financial solutions for Be drivers to buy VinFast Feliz S cars with preferential interest rates from only 0%. In particular, the entire loan registration procedure and receiving approval results are done completely online in just a few minutes, without having to go to a bank branch.

VinFast Feliz S is an electric motorbike model that can travel up to 198 km per full charge, can withstand 0.5 meter high water level for 30 minutes, very suitable for the work needs of technology motorbike taxi drivers.

With the experience and capacity of the multi-service consumer platform Be, Be Group is confident in moving towards broader goals in popularizing the "green car" culture. Ms. Vu Hoang Yen - General Director of Be Group shared: "After the initial phase of cooperation with GSM partner, many positive signals and results were achieved, specifically the total number of electric taxi trips recorded continuous growth and currently accounts for 6% of the total number of trips on the Be platform each month (higher than the 5% of some other technology-based ride-hailing platforms). The market for electric motorbikes in particular and clean energy vehicles in general in Vietnam is currently showing great potential for development, after the Government set a target of zero net emissions by 2050. According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, sales of electric motorbikes in Vietnam have increased by about 30-35% in recent years, making Vietnam the largest electric motorbike market in ASEAN and the second largest in the world, after China. The cooperation agreement between Be Group, VinFast and Cake by VPBank will further promote the green transformation trend in the transportation sector, making a practical contribution to the country's common goal.
