Taking place from April 11-18, the training course attracted the participation of 50 trainees who are artists, typical art stars, and bai choi clubs in Dong Hoi city, Bo Trach district, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy.
Within the framework of the class, students were informed of the policies and guidelines of the Party, State and Quang Binh province on preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritage in the community; an overview of the art of Bai Choi in Central Vietnam in general and Bai Choi in Quang Binh in particular.
At the same time, the outstanding artists also taught students basic to advanced skills in practicing and performing Bai Choi.
At the end of the course, 100% of students were awarded certificates of completion. In particular, during the closing ceremony, students performed lively Bài Chòi performances, imbued with the imprint of folk culture, receiving high response and appreciation from the organizers and the audience.
The training course is a practical activity to contribute to preserving and promoting traditional artistic values in modern life, creating a source of human resources to serve grassroots cultural activities.
This is also an opportunity for artisans and cultural figures to exchange experiences and contribute to preserving local folk cultural values.
