On the afternoon of November 15, at Regiment 244 (Nam Khe Ward, Uong Bi City), the National Defense and Security Education Council (QPAN) of Quang Ninh province held a closing ceremony for training in QPAN knowledge for cadres of category 3, course 6, 2024. This is the last course for cadres of category 3 in Quang Ninh province in 2024.
Attending the closing ceremony were: Colonel Ngo Xuan Khien, Head of the Militia and Self-Defense Department, General Staff of Military Region 3, Member of the Military Region 3 Military Education Council; Comrade Pham Van Khoi, Deputy Commander of the Military Command of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Muoi, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Military Education Council of Quang Ninh Province.
During 12 days, over 100 trainees who are officers of departments, offices, and workshops of companies under the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group and enterprises in Quang Ninh province studied and learned 18 topics: The guidelines and viewpoints of the Communist Party of Vietnam, policies and laws of the State on national defense; basic issues on the Party and State management of national defense; national defense work in central and local ministries and branches; prevention and combat of the strategy of "Peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow of hostile forces against Vietnam; building and managing reserve forces and militia and self-defense forces in the new situation; some contents on the system of documents transferring agencies, organizations, and localities from peacetime to wartime; civil defense and non-traditional security; basic contents of the Law on National Defense, Law on National Security; Law on Cyber Security; Law on Military Service, Law on National Defense Education, Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces... In addition, students learn some extracurricular content and practice shooting K54 (lesson 1).
At the end, 100% of students participating in the course were recognized as having completed the national defense and security knowledge training program for subject 3, of which over 31% achieved excellent results, the rest achieved fair results.
Through the course, students will creatively apply it to the practical work of their agencies and units, and at the same time advise the Party Committee and Board of Directors of companies on directing production and business tasks associated with strengthening national defense and foreign affairs; building an increasingly solid provincial defense zone.
Up to this point, this year the Quang Ninh Provincial QPAN Education Council has organized 6 courses with 650 cadres belonging to category 3 participating.
