The child was intubated, given a balloon pump, used vasopressors, and sedatives, and transferred to Children's Hospital 1.

At Children's Hospital 1, the patient was in a deep coma, had convulsions, cool limbs, weak pulse, and a fever of 41.2 degrees Celsius. The doctor diagnosed hand, foot, and mouth disease grade 4.
The patient was actively treated for shock, respiratory and circulatory support, and blood filtration according to the Ministry of Health's guidelines. However, due to the patient's serious condition, at 5:25 p.m. on May 31, the patient died.
According to Children's Hospital 1, the cause of death may be hand, foot and mouth disease. The hospital is currently waiting for PCR test results to confirm.
