For the runner-up, life as a single mother was quite difficult, but only in the beginning. Now that her son Max is 3 years old, she can return to her job. However, she is lucky because her grandparents help take care of her son so she can return to work.

Commenting on her son, Hoang Oanh said Max is a hyperactive boy but understands and cares about everyone in the family.
Although divorced, Hoang Oanh still regularly lets her son meet his father and paternal family. On Max's recent 3rd birthday, he also celebrated his new age with both his father and mother.
“That is also my biggest wish. Now, I am a joyful and happy single mother,” Hoang Oanh confided.

She was previously married to Jack Cole, an American living in Singapore. They got married in 2019. In August 2020, she gave birth to her first child. After giving birth, Hoang Oanh and her husband had to live in a long-distance relationship because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which prevented her husband from returning from Singapore to take care of his wife. In April 2022, the couple announced their divorce. They said they would raise their son together so that he could live in the best environment.
