According to a report from the Bau Trang Ecotourism Site Management Board, during the Lunar New Year holiday (December 29th - January 3rd), nearly 6,200 visitors (a 51.9% increase compared to the same period in 2023) came to visit and experience the recreational services at the Bau Trang ecotourism site (Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district).

Of the visitors, 85% were domestic tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, southern provinces, and some northern localities. Most tourists visiting Bau Trang came in groups of friends or family. In addition, nearly 900 international tourists (from South Korea, Japan, Germany, Russia, France, etc.) visited and experienced the services during the first few days of the Lunar New Year. Regarding revenue, during this period, 90% of the total revenue at Bau Trang tourist site came from off-road vehicle services, with the remainder from food and beverage services and other forms of entertainment.

Besides strengthening security and order, stabilizing service prices, and renovating the entrance gate, arranging parking areas and routes for local vehicles, the Bau Trang destination also attracts tourists because businesses have proactively developed promotional programs, discounts, and promotions to stimulate tourism, introducing many new and attractive tourism products. At the same time, maintaining environmental hygiene in tourist areas and recreational activities also contributes to attracting visitors.

Furthermore, before, during, and after the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Dragon, the Bau Trang Tourist Area Management Board coordinated with local authorities to inspect the implementation of security and order, environmental hygiene, and pricing. They regularly reminded businesses to seriously ensure safety while tourists were using their services, and assigned staff to man a hotline to promptly report and coordinate the resolution of any issues related to tourists. Together with the Hoa Thang Border Guard Station and the Hoa Thang Commune Police, they deployed forces to support security, order, rescue, and environmental hygiene efforts.
