On January 6, Tan Binh District Police (HCMC) initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained a group of subjects including: Nguyen Thi Thien Nhi (25 years old, residing in District 12), Le Quoc Doanh (23 years old, residing in Tan Binh District), Nguyen Dinh KA (17 years old, residing in Hoc Mon District) for the act of "Robbery".

The police agency calls on anyone who is a victim of this group to contact and report to serve the investigation.

Through investigation, it was determined that at the end of 2023, Le Quoc Doanh was confided by a girl named NA (21 years old, from Dak Lak ) who was making money by being a sugar baby and was recently scammed by a sugar daddy when they had fun but did not provide money. The matter only stopped at the story of NA confiding like that.

Recently, Doanh got to know two girls, Nguyen Thi Thien Nhi and Nguyen Dinh KA. When they met and talked at a coffee shop, Doanh learned that Nhi and KA are currently working as nude models for an online application and also earning extra money by being sugar babies.

But at this time, Nhi and KA added that they had a conflict with a sugar daddy with the online nickname TC, who was exposed by the sugar baby community in Ho Chi Minh City for deceiving young girls. Nhi showed Doanh a picture of the man TC as well as a chat exchange showing TC threatening Nhi.

Doanh remembered that NA had previously told a similar story about being cheated on by a fake sugar daddy, so he showed NA a picture of TC. Coincidentally, TC was the sugar daddy who had cheated on NA and was also the one who had a grudge against Nhi and KA. Therefore, the group planned to take revenge on Mr. TC.

The group agreed to send KA through the group “Sugar Baby Saigon” to text and approach TC, then lure her to a hotel on Pham Phu Thu Street, Tan Binh District. The group would set up an ambush, rush out to beat her up, and film TC naked to expose her online.

To carry out the plan, Nhi bought an electric baton online. The group did not let NA participate because TC already knew her face and where she lived.

As planned, TC took the bait from KA and was lured to the hotel. KA asked TC to go to the bathroom to take a shower.

At this time, KA opened the door for Nhi and Doanh to enter the room and hide in the wardrobe. When Mr. TC came out naked, the whole group appeared, beat him up and used their phones to record the clip.

Doanh used an electric baton to shock and threaten him, while KA used his phone to film. Nhi interrogated Mr. TC about how many girls he had cheated on. When TC did not answer, the group beat him.

Finally Nhi asked Mr. TC to pay 15 million VND for the cost of deceiving the girls, but he refused to pay.

Mr. TC stated that there was only 1.5 million VND left in his account, so Nhi asked him to use his phone to access his bank account to check. When they discovered that there was still 2 million VND left in Mr. TC's account, the group beat him up and demanded that he transfer all of it to an account that Doanh specified.

The group also took the iPhone 15 Promax and asked for the motorbike key to prevent him from chasing them. At the same time, they made it clear that if Mr. TC wanted to redeem the phone and motorbike key, he would have to pay 15 million VND.

After the incident, Mr. TC reported it to the police. Tan Binh District Police intervened, quickly arrested the subjects and the group admitted to the above actions.
