Emergency arrest of bus driver, bus assistant and delivery man in street brawl

Today (December 13), District 3 Police, Ho Chi Minh City issued a decision to urgently arrest 3 people related to the above incident, including: Vo Thanh Bang (61 years old, from Bac Lieu , driver), Pham Duy Nien (20 years old, living in Binh Chanh district, bus employee) and Le Minh Hien (37 years old, from Tra Vinh, delivery worker) to investigate the act of "Disturbing public order".

These are the people involved in the street brawl whose clip has been circulating on social media in recent days.

Accordingly, immediately after capturing the clip online, District 3 Police got involved, worked with the Ho Chi Minh City Transport Cooperative and identified driver Bang, bus employee Nien and delivery person Hien, so they were brought in for questioning.

Through investigation, at 1:30 p.m. on December 10, Hien was driving a motorbike to deliver goods. On Vo Thi Sau Street, District 3, Hien's motorbike was forced to the side of the road by a bus running route 14 driven by Bang, causing the steering wheel to wobble. Although there was no collision, Hien angrily ran after the bus, causing it to stop, and Hien cursed and banged on the bus door.

Driver Bang got out of the car with a piece of iron rod to deal with the situation and employee Hien also got out of the car. Bang held Hien's arms and Nien kicked Hien down to the sidewalk.

At that time, the people around tried to stop them. At this time, Hien stood up and fought back. Bang used an iron rod to hit them in the back.

Hien lost the battle and ran to the opposite sidewalk, intending to pick up bricks and stones to fight back, but Nien chased after him and wrestled Hien to the sidewalk. When people tried to stop him, Hien took his motorbike and fled the scene. Bang and Nien also got on the bus and left.

When the three people were brought in for questioning, the police determined that Hien had scratches and dry skin on the back of his neck and left knee, but he refused to have his injuries assessed.

Examining the bus, the police seized a round piece of iron about 65cm long that Bang confessed to using to fight Hien.

Because the incident occurred on a crowded street and a road with many tourists, it had a very negative impact on the security situation and social order. Therefore, District 3 Police urgently arrested 3 people involved to consolidate the case file for strict handling in order to deter and prevent the general public.
