Arrest of murderer, robber in Nghe An then fled to the South

On July 27, according to the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Police, the unit has just presided over and coordinated with related units to successfully break the case, arresting Tran Van Nang - the subject who committed the act of murder and robbery that occurred in Tan An commune, Tan Ky district (Nghe An).

Previously, on July 15, 2023, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Police received a report that Ms. PTH (born in 1969), residing in Tan An Commune, Tan Ky District, died in her bedroom, with many blood stains on her body and the floor. Upon checking the property in the house, Ms. H.'s relatives also discovered that a motorbike, 2 of Ms. H.'s cell phones and some other properties were missing.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police presided over and coordinated with relevant units to investigate and arrest the perpetrator.

During the investigation, the Task Force identified the suspect involved in the murder and robbery case that occurred in Tan Ky district as Tran Van Nang (born in 1962), residing in Nhan Hoa commune, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong city. After committing the crime, Tran Van Nang took the victim’s motorbike and fled.

On July 19, after a period of good work in grasping the situation and applying synchronous professional measures, the Criminal Police Department and professional units of Nghe An Police went to Ho Chi Minh City to coordinate with relevant agencies to arrest Tran Van Nang while he was hiding there. The task force seized all the assets that Tran Van Nang had taken from the victim after committing the crime.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Police has prosecuted Tran Van Nang for the crimes of "Murder" and "Robbery" to handle according to the provisions of law.
