On July 1, information from Quang Binh Provincial Police, just executed an emergency arrest warrant for a subject who defrauded people of more than 23 billion VND.
The person arrested is Nguyen Thi Thuy (born in 1984, residing in Hai Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh).
According to the police, Thuy had a large debt during her business. To have money to pay off the debt, this woman met many people in the area, giving information that she needed money to pay off the bank loan in order to raise capital.

To gain the trust of her “prey”, Thuy promised them high profits. Trusting Thuy, many people lent money to this woman.
Using that trick, from the end of 2022 to May 2023, Nguyen Thi Thuy defrauded more than 25 people in Hai Ninh commune, appropriating more than 23 billion VND.
Thuy used this embezzled money to pay off debts and personal expenses.
On June 29, the Criminal Police Department, Quang Binh Provincial Police coordinated with Quang Ninh District Police to execute an emergency search warrant and issue an emergency detention order for Nguyen Thi Thuy.
Authorities are completing the dossier and handling Nguyen Thi Thuy according to the provisions of law.
