Arrested subject who used machete to threaten and rob phone of fellow villager

Previously, at around 4:00 a.m. on April 19, 2025, Ms. NHCV, residing in Mai Xa village, Gio Mai commune, Gio Linh district, was driving a motorbike on the road through Mai Xa village, Gio Mai commune when a subject blocked her motorbike, threatened her with a machete and robbed her of a blue Iphone 11 Pro mobile phone.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department directed the force to investigate, identified the subject as Truong Khac Ho and proceeded to arrest him. The subject confessed to robbing Ms. NHCV's blue Iphone 11 Pro mobile phone, then went to a phone store in Ward 1, Dong Ha City to sell it for 1.2 million VND.

When the motorcyclist arrived in front of the bus stop at Dong Ha market, he was arrested by the police.

Currently, Quang Tri Provincial Police are continuing to investigate to handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
