The largest capacity assessment exam in the country begins: Over 120,000 candidates take the first round

According to information from Ho Chi Minh City National University, the first round of the Competency Assessment Exam will take place on March 30 in 25 provinces/cities: Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Can Tho, An Giang, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh.

This year’s exam still includes 120 objective multiple-choice questions, with a test duration of 150 minutes. Candidates are only allowed to bring into the exam room pens, black pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, calculators; calculators that do not have functions such as text editing, sending and receiving information, recording audio and video, and do not have memory cards to store data, etc.

It is expected that the results of the first round of exams will be announced to candidates on April 16, 2025. The results of this exam are currently used by more than 100 universities and colleges nationwide for admission in 2025.
