For convenient travel and a customized schedule, airlines encourage passengers to proactively plan and book tickets early. To avoid counterfeit tickets or inflated prices during the peak Tet holiday season, passengers can purchase Tet 2025 flight tickets early, starting from September 16th, on websites, mobile apps, ticket offices, or official agents.
A representative from Vietnam Airlines stated that this is the first ticket sale based on the current flight schedule approved by the authorities. The airline and other airlines will regularly monitor market demand, fleet resources, and slot allocations from the Civil Aviation Authority to open subsequent sales phases and widely publicize them so that people can proactively and conveniently purchase tickets.
The aircraft shortage resulting from the engine recall by manufacturer Pratt & Whitney on Airbus A321NEO aircraft is expected to put pressure on supply capacity during the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025.
Airlines are actively working with authorities to increase flights, consider leasing more aircraft, and expedite the delivery of new aircraft to Vietnam towards the end of the year in order to maximize transport capacity and provide more seating for passengers.
