During an emergency search of Nguyen's residence in room 501 of a rented apartment on Le Ninh Street (An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District), the police seized 5 more packages of marijuana, 13 rolls of rolling paper, 1 marijuana grinder, 1 small scale and 100 plastic bags.

In addition, on the afternoon of October 27, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team caught Chau Quang Truong (21 years old, residing in An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City) hiding 8 plastic bags of marijuana in his backpack.
Truong confessed that he was unemployed so he bought drugs to use and resell for profit. Searching Truong’s residence on Nguyen Phuoc Nguyen Street (An Khe Ward), the police continued to seize 20 unused plastic bags and 1 small scale used to divide drugs.
