Surpassing hundreds of candidates who are enterprises with positive contributions to sustainable development activities during the year, Bao Viet continues to be honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises of Vietnam 2024. This is also the 9th consecutive year that Bao Viet is one of the outstanding sustainable enterprises of Vietnam in the field of trade and services.

The CSI 2024 program is implemented by VCCI with the most notable improvement being the division of the enterprise assessment system into 3 areas: manufacturing, trade - services and mixed (including the above 2 areas). Depending on the industry group, the weight of the economic, environmental and social contents will be different, suitable for the specific industry and production - business activities of the enterprise, thereby ensuring fairness in the assessment for each enterprise.

This year, the CSI program attracted nearly 500 enterprises nationwide, from different types and sizes of enterprises to submit applications, through which the Organizing Committee has preliminarily screened and selected 142 applications for official evaluation. Notably, participating in the program this year, the rate of domestic enterprises and new enterprises participating for the first time also recorded outstanding growth compared to the past 3 years, at 62% and 35% respectively. This figure shows that the level of interest in sustainable development of domestic enterprises has improved significantly - this is a welcome signal reflecting the change in awareness and action of Vietnamese enterprises, towards transformation and sustainable business practices.

The CSI 2024 announcement ceremony honored 100 outstanding sustainable enterprises in both the manufacturing and trade-service sectors. The program also evaluated and selected pioneering enterprises that performed well in two thematic categories: implementing the circular economy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and building and implementing diverse, equitable and inclusive values.

Participating and achieving high rankings in the rankings for 9 consecutive years reflects Bao Viet's continuous contributions in joining hands with the business community to promote sustainable development in Vietnam.
