Tuoi Tre Newspaper brings Pho Day abroad for the first time

In order to introduce and promote Vietnamese culinary culture, especially pho, Tuoi Tre newspaper decided to bring Pho Day abroad, with a series of events "Vietnam Pho Festival 2023" in Tokyo (Japan) on October 7 and 8.

Vietnam Pho Festival 2023 is an event marking an important step forward when Pho Day 12-12 enters its 7th year. This is also a practical activity towards   50th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations.

With Vietnam Pho Festival 2023, for the first time, artisans will bring the quintessence of Vietnamese pho from within the country to Japan to serve international visitors. "Bringing the bell to strike a foreign land" - especially Japanese guests who are considered to be difficult, will be a challenge for Vietnamese pho to prove its position in the international arena.

Pho and Golden Star Anise chefs from years past such as Cao Van Luan, Pham Quang Duy... along with the brands Pho Dau, Pho Hai Thien, Pho Sam Ngoc Linh, Pho Thin Bo Ho... will bring the quintessence of the dish considered the national soul and national cuisine of the nation to the land of cherry blossoms this fall.

Not only carrying the mission of spreading Vietnamese pho across five continents, further promoting the dish honored as the "national dish" of the nation, the program is expected to open up a new opportunity for the agricultural sector, when contributing to honoring the value of Vietnamese rice grains. According to experts, when pho becomes a popular dish in many countries, it will open up opportunities for the export of rice products such as pho noodles... From there, it will increase the value of export goods and increase income for farmers.

According to the reigning Miss Intercontinental Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, the program's ambassador, being able to accompany the Vietnam Pho Festival 2023 in Japan is a great honor for her.

The program is co-organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper and Saigon Tourist Corporation, with the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association, and is strongly supported by Japanese friends such as Mr. Aoyagi Yoichiro - member of the House of Representatives, head of the organizing committee of the Vietnam - Japan Festival, and Manichi newspaper. The program is accompanied by Vietnam Airlines, SASCO, Pho Sam Ngoc Linh Kontum K5 and a number of domestic and foreign enterprises.
