Tuoi Tre Newspaper is not related to the fanpage 'Run for Children with Cancer - 2025'

This fanpage is called "Run for Children with Cancer - 2025", has about 2,900 likes and 3,100 followers. This page regularly posts touching content, images, and videos about children with cancer who need help from the community through running registration.

It is worth mentioning that one of the videos posted on this fanpage has the logo of Tuoi Tre newspaper. This has caused many people to misunderstand that Tuoi Tre newspaper participated in organizing the event.

Notably, this is a video about the "Sunflower Race" program taking place in 2022. This is indeed an event organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, targeting children with cancer.

Journalist Vo Hung Thuat - Director of the Media Service Center, Tuoi Tre Newspaper - affirmed: "The program 'Sunflower Race' has nothing to do with the fanpage named 'Run for Children with Cancer - 2025'.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper has never organized a race with this name. Maybe they took old documents and posted them on the fanpage, causing confusion among readers recently."

In addition to the Tuoi Tre newspaper video, this fanpage also uses real images from the 2024 Run for Children with Cancer organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CanCham). Tuoi Tre reporters are currently trying to contact CanCham to find answers.

Meanwhile, some social media users have gone to the fanpage's comment section to report fraud.
