This afternoon (October 24), storm Tra Mi entered the eastern sea of the North East Sea, becoming storm number 6 in 2024.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 p.m. today, the center was located at about 17.3 degrees North latitude; 119.9 degrees East longitude, in the eastern sea of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 9 (75-88 km/h), gusting to level 11. Moving west, speed 15-20 km/h.

The storm's impact is forecast to cause strong winds and large waves: The eastern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong winds at level 7, then increase to level 8, near the storm's eye level 9-10 (75-102km/h), gusts at level 12, waves 5-7m high, near the storm's eye 7-9m; very rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are susceptible to the effects of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
