The 2024 National Press Awards Ceremony for the Cause of Vietnam Education took place this morning, November 16, in Hanoi. The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 59 works, 57 of which were the best, including 1 Special Prize, 4 First Prizes, 8 Second Prizes, 12 Third Prizes and 32 Encouragement Prizes. These are the best works among more than 800 entries.
The Special Prize was awarded to the work Decree 116 on ordering teacher training: "Excited supply - indifferent "demand" by the group of authors Le Thi Thu, Le Thi Hang, Tran Huu Hung, Nguyen Van Cuong, News Department (VOV1), Voice of Vietnam.
The First Prize was awarded to the works Let teachers dare to think, dare to do by the group of authors Ngo Sy Dien, Nguyen Thi Nhung, Nguyen Quoc Ngu, Ha Anh Ngoc, Education and Times Newspaper; the work Preserving the national language and integrating Vietnamese into the world by the group of authors Kieu Phuong Giang, Tran Thi Tuyet Lan, Nguyen Hoai Ha, Hoang Thi Phuong Thanh, Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper; the work School behavior culture by the group of authors Pham Thi Huong, Nguyen Thu Huyen, Pham Khanh Giang, Do Thi Lua, Do Thi Tuoi, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Pham Duy Khanh, Le Van Nam, Nguyen Huy Lam, Le Minh Hoang, Thai Binh Radio and Television Station; the work Seeds of knowledge by the group of authors Nguyen Hao Anh Thu, Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung, Tran Minh Khai, Chau Ngoc Qui, Bui Tan Vu, Vinh Long Radio and Television Station.

The Organizing Committee also awarded two Outstanding Character Awards in the winning works to teacher Do Duc Thuan, teacher Hoang Duc Hoa, characters in the work "Fire from the heart!" of Quang Binh newspaper; teacher Do Thi Hoi, character in the work "People's Teacher Do Thi Hoi - 32 years of dedicated service in difficult areas " of Vinh Long Provincial Radio and Television Station.

The National Press Award for Vietnam's Education is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Journalists Association, with Education and Times Newspaper as the permanent implementing unit.
Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, said that the Award was organized to honor authors with many excellent press works on the education career; typical collectives and individuals who have contributed to the development of the industry. Thereby, promoting and honoring the contributions of the education sector to the cause of building and defending the country; at the same time, attracting the attention of all levels, sectors and society to the cause of Vietnamese education.
After 7 years of organization, the Award has been well received and attracted the wide participation of press agencies across the country, becoming a familiar press award, expected every year by the community of journalists and reporters following education.
Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam emphasized: “The success of the Award also shows the important role of the press in the development of education and training. In the coming years, we hope to continue to receive more attention and positive responses from journalists, reporters and collaborators from central and local press agencies across the country.”
