Thai Binh Newspaper implements decisions on organization and personnel work

On the morning of March 24, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Thai Binh Newspaper held a conference to implement the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies on organization and personnel work. Comrade Pham Dong Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department attended the conference.

At the conference, the following decisions were implemented: Decision on merging Thai Binh Radio and Television Station into Thai Binh Newspaper; Decision on stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure, and working relationships of Thai Binh Newspaper; Decision on assigning and appointing staff for the positions of Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thai Binh Newspaper; Decision on merging the Party Committee of Thai Binh Radio and Television Station and the Party Committee of Thai Binh Newspaper into the Party Committee of Thai Binh Newspaper, appointing personnel for the Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Thai Binh Newspaper for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Pham Dong Thuy, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the staff, reporters and technicians of Thai Binh Newspaper in the past time, especially during the period of restructuring the apparatus, but the quality of the programs has been continuously maintained and improved.

He emphasized that the merger is an important step to streamline the apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of press activities, and at the same time open up opportunities for Thai Binh Newspaper to innovate content, strongly develop press types and digital media platforms.

He requested the leadership, professional departments and each cadre, party member and employee in Thai Binh Newspaper to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, constantly improve the quality of program content, ensure that the new apparatus must operate better than before, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks. Departments need to immediately start implementing tasks, while maximizing the capacity and strengths of each individual. Continue to carry out the handover work in accordance with regulations. Carry out party activities well, including implementing the principles of democratic centralism, transparency in personnel organization and financial work.

He believes that with its mettle, intelligence and being a pioneer in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee, Thai Binh Newspaper will continue to excellently fulfill its assigned political tasks, together with the Party Committee and people in the province to realize the aspiration of bringing the country into a new era - the era of national growth.

Also at the conference, the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee were announced and presented to comrades who retired before the age according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government and the decisions of Thai Binh Newspaper on perfecting the organizational structure and appointing comrades as heads and deputy heads of specialized and professional departments of Thai Binh Newspaper were presented.
