According to the Ha Tinh Meteorological and Hydrological Station, at 13:00 on July 27, the typhoon's center was located at approximately 21.1 degrees North latitude and 119.3 degrees East longitude, about 370km south-southeast of Shantou (China).
The strongest winds near the center of the storm reached level 13 (134-149 km/h), with gusts up to level 16.

Due to the impact of the storm, the eastern part of the North East Sea region will experience rain and strong winds of force 6-7, the northeastern area will have strong winds of force 9-11, and near the storm's center winds of force 12-13, gusting to force 16; the sea will be extremely rough.
In the eastern part of the North East Sea region, sea waves are 6.0-8.0m high, and near the storm's center, they are 8.0-10.0m high.
